The Local Studies team at Aberdeen City Council have thousands of historical photos in their Silver City Vault. Some of these images inspired these locational recreations in modern day Aberdeen. The recreations are to be donated to the Silver City Vault with the potentiality of being recreated again, in another hundred or so years time. With generous help from the Local Studies team I am able to display the historical photos alongside the new. Juxtaposing photos of Aberdeen's past with Aberdeen's present, we can see how the streets and people have changed and how they have stayed very much the same.
