rowardennan
Rowardennan is nestled at the foot of Ben Lomond, the most southerly of the Munros, on the east shore of Loch Lomond. Rowardennan is a little village at the northern end of the public road, although the West Highland Way goes through the village and continues north along the side of the loch.
It is mainly known as the starting point for the main path up Ben Lomond but the tranquil loch shore is perfect for paddling and you may also find people engaged in windsurfing, canoeing, archery and orienteering here.
